May 2, 2016 – Fargo, ND – Individuals interested in seeing work by Sean Coffman Fine Art Photography and meeting artist Sean Coffman will have two opportunities to do so this week in Fargo, ND.
On Tuesday, May 3, Coffman will be appearing at the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artist Big Art Show Public Reception at the Hjemkomst Center, 202 1st Ave N. Moorhead, MN, 56560, from 5-7 PM.
Hosted by the Historical Cultural Society of Clay County, the Big Show is an exhibition of a collection of work from participating FMVA members. Work from all mediums are represented, with written statements from each of the artists describing their inspirations and techniques. The Public Reception provides a forum and opportunity for members of the community to meet and engage the artist.
A 36″ x 48″ framed color digital photograph of Coffman’s Spring Sunset depicting the sun setting behind a lone tree in a corn field near Lisbon, North Dakota, is part of the exhibit, which runs through June 10th, 2016.
Coffman will also be on hand on Friday, May 6 at the Parallel Galleries Grand Opening & Artist Reception at the Historic Black Building, 114 North, Fargo, ND, 58102, from 5-9 PM.
Located in the heart of downtown Fargo, Parallel Galleries showcases local, unique artists from all mediums. The Sean Coffman Fine Art Photography collection at Parallel Galleries includes framed editions of Abandoned at Sunset, featuring a sunset behind a solitary church in a damp corn field, and Chasing Sunsets, an image featuring the pastels of a sunset over Leech Lake in Walker, Minnesota. Also available are a variety of archival print images, tote bags and greeting cards.
The Grand Opening & Artist Reception is sponsored by Junkyard Brewing and Bridgetown Imprints. The Laughing Girls will be on-hand for a poetry performance, and Adele Koskela will be demonstrating her famous Zendels.
